Show News 2006


Ch. Best Guard Stepan Razin started 2006 out right by taking Best of Breed at the very prestegious Westminster Kennel Club show. Stepan competed against all the top Black Russian Terriers in the United States and came out the winner as the best Black Russian Terrier in show. Stepan is ranked as the number 1 Black Russian Terrier in the country for breed points (total Black Russian Terriers defeated through July 4, 2006).





Prior to the Black Russian Terrier becoming recognized by the American Kennel Club in July 2004, our male, Ch. Best Guard Stepan Razin, was shown, as a puppy, exclusively at International All Breed Kennel Club shows. His impressive show record is listed below:

2005

We started out slowly this year, not really showing until May, however, by June both Stepan and Tara had obtained their American Kennel Club Championships. Tara has completed her show career but Stepan is continuing his winning ways!

Stepan and Tara's kids are currently being shown under our kennel prefix - Cerberus.

Since May they have amassed quite a show record. Cerberus Dante's Inferno "Dante" - finished his AKC Championship September 4, 2005, taking back to back 4 point majors on the way. Dante is our first home bred champion. Watch for Dante, we plan a stellar specials career for him.

Cerberus Hel Hath No Fury, "Fury" - currently has 10 points toward her AKC Championship.



Cerberus Hel or High Water, "Neva" - completed her AKC Champion title requirements by winning a total of six additional championship points including winning her second major."



Cerberus Circee's Flame, "Circee" - 2006 has been an excellent year for Circee so far. She has been very competitive winning points, including one major, at a number of AKC shows. Circee now only needs one major win to finish her Championship.



Foma Van Dog Polonica, "Foma" - is well on his way to obtaining his Championship. He has won several Champioship points in 2006 including one Best of Breed win. He now only needs a major to obtain his AKC title.



Cerberus Some Like It Hot, "Hades" - came home from two weekends of shows by winning Best of Winners and two points toward his Championship at the tender age of 8 months.



Cerberus Devil in Disquise, "Dali" - came home from her first show weekend with two points toward her Championship at the tender age of 8 months.



Cerberus That's Our Heavenly Deamon, "Marishka" - came home from her first show weekend with a four point major win toward her Championship at the tender age of 8 months.
